Why do I need AusNet pre-approval?
AusNet Services is the electricity distribution network in the Pakenham region. Any new inverter that can export > 5kW into the grid needs a connection pre-approval before we can energise the system. AusNet sometimes imposes a 5kW export limit on the inverter, which we configure via the CT clamp during commissioning.
